Meeting the Basic Need of the Community
The Sidoo Family Foundation improves the lives of people in need by funding and supporting health and education initiatives. The Foundation’s mission is to use the generosity of the community to help those who are less fortunate. The Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth, focusing on issues such as mental health, poverty and family violence.
Through the Sidoo Family Foundation, they support arts, education, social and environmental causes that are close to their hearts. The Center for Advancing Childhood Development is a place to help children who face various forms of trauma, social services or mental health issues. The center provides professional services, early learning programs and resources for families in the community. The Sidoo Family Foundation supports this initiative.
The Foundation was established in 1996 to support a wide range of health and social programs that benefit children, youth and families in need. The Foundation has distributed over $45 million to worthwhile organizations across Canada. Their mission is to improve the health and education of children in our community. They do this through innovative funding, research and program support.
